Elizabeth Banister, Ph.D. is a Professor in the School of Nursing at the University of Victoria. Her research interests include understanding adolescent girls' dating health issues and evaluating a mentorship program used with girls to enhance their health. She is currently leading an interdisciplinary group of researchers to document knowledge transfer processes taking place within a Healthy Youth Community Alliance for Health Research project. Dr. Banister's publications include discussions of ethical, methodological, and pedagogical challenges she has encountered in her research and teaching.
