Researchers
J.F. Bureau (Ph.D) is an assistant-professor at the school of Psychology of the University of Ottawa. He is interested in representational and behavioural manifestations of attachment disorganization in preschool, school-age and adolescence and their influence on social-affective and cognitive development. His current research deals with genetic and environmental precursors of disorganized attachment behaviour as well as the contribution of the family dynamic to the development of self-injurious behaviours. He is also interested in intergenerational transmission of depressive and anxious symptoms. He is author on numerous peer-reviewed articles, as well as national and international conference presentations. J.F. Bureau obtained a Ph.D. in psychology at University of Québec at Montréal under the supervision of Professor Ellen Moss and he completed a post-doctoral internship at Harvard Medical School under the supervision of Dr. Karlen Lyons-Ruth.Back to Researcher List |
